Why Air Layer Works for Dresses

Air layer fabric has a distinct three-layer structure: two outer knit faces connected by a spacer yarn in the middle. That construction creates body without weight, so an A-line dress stands away from the body cleanly, while a sheath dress keeps its line without feeling stiff. The polyester content makes the fabric wrinkle-resistant, easy care, and stable in color across batches - exactly what buyers in ASEAN and Africa look for in dress fabrics.

For softer styles, our plain and textured polyester knits offer a more fluid drape for blouse-weight dresses, skirts and linings, and can be combined with air layer panels for design interest.
